Enrico Ruggeri, All in
With Notti di Luce Orchestra
Directed by Gabriele Comeglio
Enrico Ruggeri has made a long way since, in 1974, he entered the world of music founding, with Silvio Capeccia, the “Champagne Molotov”. Since then, indeed, he has made many successful records, won several times at the famous Sanremo Festival, held concerts all over the world, has written books, has been anchorman of some intelligent and well-done TV programs (“Il bivio/Crossroad” and “Quello che le donne non dicono/What women do not say”). This year "All In – l’ultima follia di Enrico Ruggeri" was released: a triple box telling and summarizing his newest year of fun and of provocative craziness. In “World show”, Incontri/Meetings” and “Volata finale/Final sprint”, these are the titles of his three CDs, Ruggeri presents again Rock Show (the album released last year) but in a completely new way, with intriguing cover songs reinterpreted according to Ruggeri‘s personal style, while with “Volata finale” the artist is the protagonist of another debut: on this occasion he becomes indeed the composer of the soundtrack of the homonym film, an intense and funny work by the Albanian director Gjergj Xhuvani. During the concert in Matteotti Square he will be accompanied by Notti di Luce Orchestra, the eminent ensemble who already accompanied the music of great Italian artists like Roby Facchinetti, Lucio Dalla, Ron and Fabio Concato.
This was possible thanks to two main elements: the skill of a well-known director and arranger like Gabriele Comeglio and the professionalism of some of the best Italian jazz players like the trumpet player Emilio Soana.
