Recital of Fabio Concato
Orchestra of Notti di Luce

Fabio Concato, one of the few Italian singers strictly related to jazz music because of his characteristic musical harmony, will put on stage a concert based on music and words, in which he will perform some of his greatest successes with the accompaniment of Notti di Luce Orchestra. Fabio Concato is one of the most beautiful certainties of our authorial music. Started at the end of the 1970s with a music formula highly influenced by his big love for cabaret, during the years this singer-songwriter from Milan has been able to carve out an important niche for his songs, telling, in a very personal way, the little big stories of every-daylife. Nostalgia, memories, hopes, confessions just hinted, flashes of contagious cheerfulness fill the world oh his songs, like an illustration book that has always been able to immediately reach the audience inventory.
Fabio Concato’ artistic course started in 1977, when his first album, “Storie di sempre”, was published, followed by “Svendita totale” and “Zio Tom”. “Fabio Concato” is a success, thanks to the song “Una domenica bestiale”: it is the beginning of a very lucky artistic phase, when some very popular songs like “Guido piano”, “Rosalina”, “Fiore di maggio”, and “Senza avvisare” (1986), were written. Later “Giannutri” (1990), “Punto e virgola” (1991), “In viaggio” (1992), “Scomporre e ricomporre” (1994), “Blu” (1996). In 2001 Fabio Concato comes again in the limelight with a new album (“Ballando con Chet Baker”) whose release is anticipated by his first presence to the Festival of Sanremo, where he presents the song “Ciao Ninìn”; he takes part again in 2007 with the song “Oltre il giardino” anticipating the release of his double homonimous album.
