Rossana Casale’s Imaginary Circus
After three years dedicated to jazz music, Rossana Casale performs, in a concert, her last work The Imaginary Circus inspired to Sara Cerri ‘s beautiful homonimous book (published by Fabbri).
With her on stage Marco Posani, theatre and TV author, who offers Rossana some stories about the lives of some of the greatest and maddest street artists of the past herself drawing on famous repertories (Fellini, Rodari) or writing between reality and fiction; Francesco Scandale, who with maestry, cloths and shining stars leads Rossana to the road of poor circus; Graziella Pera, who underlines with her costumes and theatre experience the black-and-white dream of the cinemas in Calvino’s tales and, last but not least, a small orchestra of musicians with different musical extractions (ethno, jazz, classical), who bring the listener to deep into the circus atmosphere and remind him of the notes of the songs that have scanned Rossana Casale’s musical course (Ritorna tutto al tempo, Brividi, Destino, Salgari, A che servono gli Dei).
The result is a show between music and theatre where emotions chase each other in a sequence of paintings full of lights and colors.

Takings of the show will be entirely devolved to Capuchin Fathers’ “Poor refectory” of Bergamo.
