Massimo Lopez: “Ciao Frankie”
with Notti di Luce Orchestra
Directed by Giorgio Lopez
Direction and arrangements by Gabriele Comeglio

Why was and will always be Frank Sinatra big? In Ciao Frankie Massimo Lopez tells us about itwith his heart and mind, in a special night of high artistic and musical level, according to the best American tradition, to remind and witness the value of an artistic and human legacy. This is the aim of a big conceert-show whose absolute protagonist is Frank Sinatra’s music, the artist who marked an epoch lasted ore than 65 years with his unforgettable swing.

The show snakes through 21 pieces of the most famous repertory of “the Voice”; Massimo Lopez is joined in this impressive show by a very high level orchestra, Notti di Luce Orchestra directed by Gabriele Comeglio who already accompanied artists like Lucio Dalla, Ron, Bob Mintzer. During his show Lopez not only traces back the musical career of the Sinatra’s myth, but, from time to time, entertains the audience with gags and the same funny monologues that made his success. The spectator sees again then his most sensational counterfeits: from Maurizio Costanzo, to the very much estimeed former Republic President Carlo Azeglio Ciampi.

Massimo Lopez is a complete artist, indeed he is an actor, imitator and appreciated singer; with his irony he gives a remarkable acting demonstration.

The show has been touring for a long time in the most important theatres throughout Italy, always revealing a great success. Also Ciao Frankie is an exclusive show for the audience of Notti di Luce.

The direction of the show is of Giorgio Lopez, great dubber (he’s the voice of Danny De Vito and Dustin Hoffman), but also director, that in this show managed to take out of his brother Massimo a new interpretative string.
