Roberto Muccigraduated in “Organ and organistic composition” with the highest degree and with honors at “G. Donizetti” musical institute in Bergamo, later in “Choral music and direction” and in “Sacred music and Gregorian chant”.

As composer he has in his repertory many vocal and organistic pieces; he regularly helds solo as well as continuist concerts. He has been directing Ensemble Polifonico and Schola Gregoriana “Laus Deo” in Rho (Milan) for ten years. Since July 2004 he has been in office as head organist at Basilica of S. Maria Maggiore in Bergamo and is the artistic director of the review “L’organo della Basilica” (The Basilica Organ), an eminent yearly kermesse dedicated to monumental “Vegezzi - Bossi” of S. Maria Maggiore.

Ludovico Pelis, graduatedat “G. Donizetti” musical institute in Composition, with Vittorio Fellegara, and in Piano, with Roberto Frattini. Once accomplished also the degree in Philosophy at Università Statale in Milan, he graduated in Orchestra Direction at “G. Verdi” conservatory, under the wing of Vittorio Parisi. After following for three years the summer improvement courses in Orchestra Direction of Accademia Chigiana in Siena, held by Gianluigi Gelmetti, he attended Aldo Ceccato’s Masterclass in Milan and for two years Ervin Acél’s International Master Class at Musikseminar in Vienna (where he has been awarded for his execution, in the concluding concert, of the final of Cajkovskij’s “Phatetic”). In 2005 he was among the finalists (not assigned) of "F. Capuana" international contest for orchestra directors (in the opera field) in Spoleto. As director he exhibited in Milan with orchestras like “I Pomeriggi Musicali”, “Milano Classica”, “G. Cantelli”, “Orchestra dell'Università Statale di Milano”, “Città di Magenta”; in many occasions he has been in office of the Bergamo Musical Institute Orchestra and also directed “G. Donizetti” Stable Orchestra. Among his many commitments abroad in 2004 he opened the concert seasons in Tijuana and Ensenada (Mexico) with the Orchestra of Lower California and directed in Tirana, within the 2006/07 season, the Orchestra of Opera and Ballet National Theatre.

He has worked, as master co-worker or director assistent in many Italian theatres; since 2002 he has collaborating as assistent with director Aldo Ceccato.

As piano player he has carried out chamber music activities with instrumental players as well as with singers. His compositions have been performed in occasion of many contests.

Intense didactic activity as teacher in many musical disciplines at Bergamo’s University, S. Alessandro Scientific-musical high-school and S. Cecilia Musical School.
