The happy Prince is one of the most well-known fairy tales by Oscar Wilde and tells about a deep friendship between a swallow migrating for Egypth and the statue of a prince who was once rich and happy.
The particolarity of the show consists in the melting of verbal, musical languages and in the manipulation of paper.
During the narration the actor Oreste Castagna creates indeed the many characters cutting them out of cardboard. Ans so swallows, butterflies, frogs and clouds magically shape in the amazement of the audience of children and adults.
The show, available also on CD, boasts more than 300 replications in many children’s theatre festivals and a four-month tour in the USA.
