RON in concert
with Notti di Luce Orchestra
Direction and arrangements by Gabriele Comeglio and Fabio Coppini

Piazza Grande, Attenti al Lupo, Cosa Sarà, Occhi di Ragazza, Vorrei incontrarti fra cent'anni, Una città per cantare, Il mondo avrà una grande anima, Il gigante e la bambina. They are just some of the wonderful songs written by a standing-out personage of the Italian author’s song who to almost thirty years of brilliant career preferred instead to favour the introspection and reserve of authentic artists, the clamoring of show-business, inner voices instead of flauntiness and whims of divism. This happened also when Ron’s music, committed to his voice or the one of notable colleagues - Dalla, De Gregori, Morandi darted on top of the hit parade. Ron is a real poet of the Italian author’s song in costant suspence between textual suggestion and non standard musical writing, held by bizarre and original harmonic circles derived by his curiosity and interest for Cat Stevens, James Taylor, Paul Mc Cartney and Jackson Browne. But Ron‘s songs – or Rosalino Cellamare, for those who remember his debut at San Remo Festival –are absolutely his. Just a few notes are enough to recognize an high quality stylish feature and a very refined musicality able to stimulate the pen of a arranger of unquestioning level like Gabriele Comeglio, already a collaborator of Mina, Franco Battiato, Lucio Dalla, Biagio Antonacci, in a modern dimension updated by pop, evansian echoes and of the great Italian and American orchestra tradition.
