“Fiaccolata per la vita”
by A.I.D.O.

A.I.D.O. has been functioning for thirty-five years for the important spreading of organ donation for therapeutic purposes in the social fabric of our community. Today the association, which was founded in 1971 in Bergamo, boasts about 60,000 members and right thanks to this synergic culture, our hospital has become the cradle of organ drawing and transplanting positioning Ospedali Riuniti among the nation- and worldwide excellence centres.

In order to celebrate this important event Aido Bergamo has organized a series of initiatives in the city of Bergamo, among which the fourth edition of “Fiaccolata per la Vita” (Torch-light procession for life) which will take place Saturday 2nd September from 08.30 p.m. from Piazza Vecchia to reach, through the Venetian walls and the city streets, Sentierone and Palazzo dei Contratti and Manifestazioni in Piazza della Libertà at about 10.30 p.m., where some significant testimonies of Bergamo Aido will be made given.
